# The Vision

**Why Fantasy Tier?**

Because fantasy games work. Around the world, fantasy sports have proven to deliver unmatched engagement:

* Fantasy Premier League: \~11 million players
* Fantasy NBA: 4–5 million players
* Fantasy MLB: 2–4 million players
* Argentina’s Gran DT: \~200,000 users per season

Fantasy Tier was born from a group of crypto-native developers who were also die-hard football fans. They loved fantasy games — but hated the idea of relying on low-quality tokens or short-term hype. So they asked:

> "What if we used DeFi to build a real game with sustainable, long-term rewards?"

That’s where Fantasy Tier began: **a fun, rewarding game without empty tokenomics**. Just real users, real competition, and provably fair prizes using DeFi rails.

Over time, the composable architecture they built revealed something bigger: it wasn’t just a platform for Web3-native leagues , it was also perfect for real-world tournaments, local football clubs, DAOs, L1 blockchains, and even traditional companies looking to gamify their audience experience.

Today, Fantasy Tier is the best way for **Web2 and Web3 companies alike** to offer their communities a fun, modular, and competitive fantasy experience.

Whether you’re building for 10 friends or 10,000 users, Fantasy Tier gives you the tools to make it fun, fair, and engaging — all while keeping control over the experience.
